It's Interesting what you find....

I was just searching google for what hits Room For Gray brings up and it is always refreshing to find things about this band I hadn't seen before.  Below is the link to the Bad Girls Club episode 4 soundtrack and if you scroll down you will see they featured "Make A Play," last February.  I was aware they were using it but just had never come across any solid site that linked RFG to it.  So ta da.....here it is http://features.oxygen.com/outloud/blog/entertainment/bgc-6-soundtrack-episode-4

Another interesting tid bit is our relation to sex offenders and is there "room for gray"  see below.  I was thinking maybe we should trademark Room For Gray so we get money everytime someone mentions it.  Especially when referring to sex offenders.

The Kardashians, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Real World/Challenges

Some amazing news just in!  We just heard that Room For Gray's songs from "The Next Step," are going to be featured in "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," and "The Real World / Challenges."  I can't tell you how excited that makes us to get some more national recogition.  With any luck next week Warner Bros. records will call us and offer us a 4 album deal.  A guy can hope can't he?  Nonetheless we are thrilled and seeking more opportunities to spread the music of Room For Gray.

MTV Bad Girls Club

Just got off the phone with the company that places music on MTV's Bad Girls Club and they featured "Make A Play," on Episode #64 back on February 7th, 2011.  It's always nice to hear news that Room For Gray is getting some national attention.  I wish it was the guys over at Warner Bros. records but any exposure it good exposure. 

Our summer calendar as I said in my last post is getting busier every week which is fantastic and we are getting back in the habit of doing full band shows again.  You know over the years we had so many bass players come in and out of this band that I had always wondered if it would just be easier if we were just a 3 piece band and so far it turns out that it is.  I have to admit I was very nervous that I could fill the void of bass but with some hard work I am getting the hang of this instrument.  One less person I need to worry about not showing up for practice and even more, one more person I don't need to worry about quitting.  This is for sure one of the hardest dreams to keep moving forward every day but as long as I still have the fuel inside of me I am going to keep pushing ahead.

One more tidbit of news.  We are adding another date to our Captains Getaway in July.  We are now playing July 5-7.  So Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.  We had a blast there last year and can't wait to get back down there again.
